The control tower used by the harbour authorities for controlling boat and shipping movements during flying boat operations still existed in 2005, albeit in truncated form. It is located in the Wilson’s Wharf development near the sugar terminal. It stands next to the Catalina Theatre [opened December 2002] and serves as an area where theatre goers can enjoy drinks with a splendid view out over the bay.
